Headlines are no exception to the rule.
For one of their blog post, they tested two different headlines.
The first used a headline that teased the post’s content: "The Simple Test That Increased Our Referrals"
The second used a similar headline, but they made it clear that the post was backed by data: "The Simple Test That Increased Our Referrals By 30%"
The result: the variant that mentioned research got 40% more clics than the basic one.
