Overview

This skill delivers hands-on business analysis for product, growth, and investor needs. I analyze KPIs, build dashboards, and produce revenue models and growth projections that you can use immediately. The focus is on clear, actionable insights that drive decisions and investor conversations.

How this skill works

I inspect your raw metrics, revenue data, user cohorts, and acquisition channels to identify trends, anomalies, and levers for growth. Outputs include an executive summary, dashboard templates, cohort tables, projection models with assumptions, and SQL snippets for ongoing tracking. Each deliverable highlights what changed, why it matters, and recommended next steps.

When to use it

  • Preparing investor updates or board reports
  • Diagnosing sudden changes in revenue, churn, or activation
  • Building or refreshing KPI dashboards for the team
  • Estimating growth and cash runway from scenario models
  • Evaluating CAC vs LTV to refine acquisition spend

Best practices

  • Start with the metrics that map directly to business outcomes (revenue, retention, activation)
  • Use cohort-based retention to avoid misleading aggregate churn rates
  • Document assumptions for all projections and present upside/downside scenarios
  • Compare performance against industry benchmarks and prior periods
  • Automate core SQL queries and dashboard refreshes for repeatable reporting

Example use cases

  • Generate a one-page executive summary and slide-ready charts for an investor meeting
  • Create a monthly KPI dashboard with retention cohorts and revenue waterfall
  • Build a three-scenario revenue model (baseline, conservative, aggressive) with clear assumptions
  • Analyze CAC and LTV by channel to reallocate marketing spend
  • Run cohort analysis to identify onboarding drops and recommend UX fixes

FAQ

What inputs do you need?

Supply historical revenue, user events or signup data, acquisition spend by channel, and any existing cohort identifiers. If access is limited, CSV exports work.

Do you provide reproducible queries and templates?

Yes. I deliver SQL snippets for core metrics and a dashboard template you can plug into BI tools for automated tracking.
