Vibium browser automation can be used alongside Playwright for enhanced testability assessment. While **Playwright remains the primary engine**, Vibium offers complementary capabilities for certain metrics.

This skill provides an AI-powered testability assessment that scores a web application against 10 intrinsic testability principles using Playwright, with optional Vibium enhancements. It runs an automated analysis, produces JSON and an interactive HTML radar-report, and prioritizes improvements by impact and effort. Use it to evaluate test readiness, generate actionable recommendations, and integrate results with broader QX analysis.
The assessment navigates to a target URL, collects runtime metrics (console errors, network activity, DOM stability, accessibility attributes, etc.), and scores each of the 10 principles with configurable weights. Results are aggregated into an overall numeric score and grade, saved as JSON, and rendered as an HTML report with a radar chart. Vibium can be enabled to augment stability, visual regression, and element-stability metrics while Playwright remains the primary engine for console and network analysis.
Do I need Vibium to run the assessment?
No. Playwright is the primary engine and can run the full assessment. Vibium is optional and recommended only for enhanced element stability and visual consistency metrics.
What outputs does the skill produce?
It generates timestamped JSON results, an interactive HTML radar report, and a latest.json symlink. Reports can be archived as CI artifacts or consumed programmatically.
How are principle weights applied?
Each principle has a predefined weight (e.g., Observability and Controllability 15% each). Raw metrics are scored per principle, then weighted and aggregated to compute the overall score and grade.
