# Cloudflare Deploy
Consolidated skill for building on the Cloudflare platform. Use decision trees below to find the right product, then load detailed references.
## Prerequisites
- When sandboxing blocks the deployment network calls, rerun with `sandbox_permissions=require_escalated`.
- The deployment might take a few minutes. Use appropriate timeout values.
## Authentication (Required Before Deploy)
Verify auth before `wrangler deploy`, `wrangler pages deploy`, or `npm run deploy`:
```bash
npx wrangler whoami # Shows account if authenticated
```
Not authenticated? → `references/wrangler/auth.md`
- Interactive/local: `wrangler login` (one-time OAuth)
- CI/CD: Set `CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN` env var

## Troubleshooting
### Escalated Network Access
If deployment fails due to network issues (timeouts, DNS errors, connection resets), rerun the deploy with escalated permissions (use `sandbox_permissions=require_escalated`). The deploy requires escalated network access when sandbox networking blocks outbound requests.
Example guidance to the user:
```
The deploy needs escalated network access to deploy to Cloudflare. I can rerun the command with escalated permissions—want me to proceed?
```
This skill deploys applications and infrastructure to Cloudflare using Workers, Pages, and related platform services. It guides product selection (Workers, Pages, Durable Objects, R2, etc.), verifies authentication, and runs the appropriate deploy commands. Use it to publish serverless code, full-stack sites, containers, cron jobs, and storage-backed services on Cloudflare.
The skill inspects your deployment intent and maps it to the right Cloudflare product using decision trees (compute, storage, AI, networking, security). It verifies authentication (npx wrangler whoami) and advises the correct auth flow for local or CI/CD environments. When executing deploys, it runs Wrangler/Pages/CI deploy commands and handles common issues like sandbox network restrictions and timeouts.
How do I know if I am authenticated to Cloudflare?
Run npx wrangler whoami. If you are not authenticated, use wrangler login locally or set CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN in CI.
My deploy fails due to network errors in the sandbox. What should I do?
Rerun the deploy with escalated permissions (sandbox_permissions=require_escalated) to allow outbound network calls. Also check DNS and timeout settings.
