Remember: Intent signals are about TIMING. Same prospect, different time = different outcome!

Overview

This skill monitors buyer intent signals across the web and surfaces accounts that are most likely to purchase. It aggregates job postings, funding events, leadership changes, tech stack shifts, public content and other indicators to score and prioritize prospects. The output highlights "hot" accounts with recommended timing and outreach talking points.

How this skill works

The aggregator continuously ingests public sources (job boards, press, LinkedIn, tech registries, conference lists) and tags events by signal type and recency. Signals are weighted into high/medium/low intent buckets, combined into an intent score, and converted into ranked alerts and a digest. Each alert includes evidence, suggested next action, and estimated urgency window (days/weeks).

When to use it

  • Time outreach immediately after high-intent events like funding or role-specific job posts.
  • Prioritize account-based prospecting lists by intent score to allocate SDR time.
  • Plan marketing or nurture cadence for medium/low intent accounts.
  • Detect expansion opportunities when tech stack changes or multiple hires appear.
  • Prepare targeted outreach when a new decision-maker joins a prospect.

Best practices

  • Treat signals as timing indicators, not guarantees—reach out quickly on high-intent events.
  • Combine multiple signals (leadership + hiring) to raise priority and personalize messaging.
  • Verify sources and capture direct evidence (JD snippets, press links) in the alert.
  • Align outreach playbooks to the urgency window: days for high, weeks for medium, nurture for low.
  • Feed outcomes back into the model to refine signal weights and win-rate estimates.

Example use cases

  • SDR team gets a daily digest of hot accounts after a Series A/B and schedules immediate outreach.
  • Account execs prioritize demos for companies that posted relevant job roles in the last 72 hours.
  • Revenue ops tunes ICP filters to monitor tech stack migrations across target accounts.
  • Marketing triggers targeted nurture campaigns for medium-intent accounts publishing content about a problem you solve.
  • Customer success flags expansion opportunities when headcount grows in a related department.
