Overview

This skill converts technical blog posts into SEO-optimized articles that perform better in search. It refines titles and meta descriptions, adjusts keyword placement in the body, suggests content expansions and updates obsolete phrasing, and recommends structured data. The goal is measurable search improvements while preserving technical accuracy and author voice.

How this skill works

Provide the original article text and any available search-console metrics or target keywords. The skill analyzes intent, keyword opportunities, on-page issues, and content gaps, then produces a rewritten draft with title and meta tags, recommended headings, keyword distribution, and structured-data snippets. It also outputs a short checklist of changes to implement and optional alternate versions for A/B testing.

When to use it

  • You want to boost organic rankings for an existing tech post.
  • Updating an old article to reflect new tools, APIs, or versions.
  • Preparing content for a targeted keyword or feature launch.
  • Improving click-through rate with better titles and meta descriptions.
  • Consolidating multiple scattered posts into a single authoritative piece.

Best practices

  • Share target keywords, current URL, and any Search Console data for precise recommendations.
  • Keep the technical accuracy intact—provide references or changelogs for factual updates.
  • Use the provided title and meta variants in A/B tests to measure CTR improvements.
  • Apply the internal-linking and structured-data suggestions to amplify topical authority.
  • Prioritize user intent: ensure introductions and summaries address reader goals quickly.

Example use cases

  • Rewriting a tutorial to include updated API parameters and new code examples while preserving SEO value.
  • Optimizing a roundup post with clustered keywords and improved H2 structure for featured snippets.
  • Refreshing a slow-ranking how-to article by expanding steps, adding FAQs, and schema.org markup.
  • Converting a brief announcement into a comprehensive guide that targets long-tail queries.
  • Merging two related posts into one pillar article and creating redirects with optimized titles and metas.

FAQ

Will the rewritten content keep the original technical accuracy?

Yes. The skill preserves technical details and flags any areas where source verification is needed so you can confirm changes.

Can it generate structured-data markup for rich results?

Yes. It proposes appropriate JSON-LD snippets (Article, HowTo, FAQ, Breadcrumb) tailored to the post and shows where to place them.

Do I need to provide analytics data?

Not required but strongly recommended. Search Console or traffic data helps prioritize pages and refine keyword targeting for better impact.
