You interact with the Next.js DevTools MCP through your MCP client. Start a Next.js dev server for 16+ projects to enable runtime diagnostics at the built-in MCP endpoint. Use the available MCP tools to discover running servers, inspect errors and logs, query routes and metadata, and perform automated tasks such as upgrades and Cache Components setup.
