About the Author

David L. Burrier

David L. Burrier grew up on a farm in northeast Iowa where he learned the value of "people helping people." He recalls being inspired at a young age as he observed neighbors working together to harvest the crop of a disabled farmer. David has founded several organizations based on the premise that, "when we work together to help others, we strengthen ourselves." He is a motivational/inspirational speaker, singer, songwriter and storyteller. Mr. Burrier has written and produced five devotional tapes for pre-school and elementary- age children. His first adult devotional CD will be released in the summer of 2001. This project titled, "I've Been There," involves over 75 people who bring hope and promise to those struggling with the stresses of life. "As our society has steadily moved toward isolationism, we have missed the opportunity to experience the joy of accomplishing great things by working together." Mr. Burrier considers this lesson to be a discovery of one of life's many diamonds.

Robert Snyder

Robert Snyder lives in Indiana where he works at home as a full-time freelance illustrator. Most of his work has been magazine art for small to mid-sized periodicals. Robert has also worked as a product designer of new and licensed characters for the past four years. His character drawings are unique and fun--so much so, that he prefers his own character self-portrait over a photograph.
