of story
I've been locked up in this hateful tower for years,
and the only person I ever get to see is the witch. My social life is
a disaster, and now I'm starting to have problems with my hair - because
the witch insists on climbing up it every day. When I finally do get a
chance to meet new people, there's always the threat of her showing up
and changing whoever visits me into something horrible. How will I ever
be popular? Do I need a computerized dating-service?

I don't understand why mature,
appearance-challenged women like me always come off as totally unsympathetic
characters in this kind of story. I mean, first my neighbors trespass
on my property and steal from my garden. Then, when I give their daughter
every opportunity to advance herself, she gets involved with a bungling
royal. Where's the gratitude? That's what I want to know! Where's the
appreciation?

Prince 13%
of story
It is such a trial being a handsome prince. You
have no idea of the time you have to put in to maintain your looks. It's
rush, rush, rush, from the gym to a fitting with the tailor, to a ball,
or a reception. I have absolutely no time for myself. And my subjects
will keep standing in front of mirrors, so I can't see how I look. Plus,
women all over my kingdom throw themselves at me wherever I go. Do you
think someday I'll find someone who will love me for myself alone?

Hairdresser 13%

I was reely surprised when
this witch came inta' the Salon de Paree where I work, and took me ta'
see this girl named Rapunzel who was havin' problems with her ha-uh. Let
me tell ya', she lived in the weirdest place ya' ever saw. Some crummy
old tower that askshully had no stairs, and no door. Reely bizarre! You
think I'm kiddin', doncha? What? You think I'd lie to ya'?

Farmer 2%
of story
I'm just a poor man who's
trying to make a living, but my wife always thinks the vegetables are
greener on the other side of the fence - the fence around the witch's
garden, that is. I want my wife to be happy, but I'm scared that the witch
will catch me stealing from her garden. Do you think I'm really suited
for a life of crime?

Farmer's
Wife 4%
of story
All I wanted was a nice crispy salad. I simply
asked my husband to get me some of an up-scale, leafy green vegetable
called rampion, and he had a fit! Just because it only grew in the witch's
garden.. Was that asking for too much?
