I like the same things that my other friends do. I like video games, hanging out at the pizza place, and soccer. Lately, I haven't been feeling very well, and I'm tired all the time. Why can't I just get better so I can play soccer?

Sadie                                                                                                   10% of story

I like Remo and want to play with him. I want to be big like he is. I just want to play! Why won't Remo play soccer with me anymore? Why does everyone look funny when I talk about Remo? Has everyone forgotten about me?

Mother Bear                                                                                 14% of story

I admit that I fuss a bit much over my cubs. I try to make sure they eat good foods, do their homework, and get enough sleep - especially during hibernation. I sure wish Remo felt better lately. He doesn't want to go to the doctor, but should I take him anyway?

Father Bear                                                                                  7% of story

I'm a very proud father. I coach Remo's soccer team and have been very pleased with his skills and his efforts on the field. I've noticed him limp around a bit, and he does have that cough, but I think Mother just worries too much. Shouldn't I, as his father and coach, encourage Remo to be tough?

Dr. Bearwell                                                                                    8% of story

I've been Remo's doctor since he was a very little cub. I've enjoyed watching him grow. His family is depending on me to help Remo get better now that he's sick. I just hope that I can explain things to him in a way that he understands.

Nurse Grace                                                                                  5% of story

I've worked for Dr. Bearwell for many years, and I've been Remo's nurse since he was just a cub. I can see that his parents are worried about him, and I want to do what I can to make him feel better.

Small Parts-Adults                                                                 5% of story

Includes a sports announcer, Remo's school teacher, a Sunday School teacher, and two nurses from the hospital.

Includes friends of Remo and Sadie and some of Remo's soccer teammates.

As the narrator, I am the master storyteller! It's up to me to keep the story alive and interesting with each exciting detail. So, I must read everything with expression and excitement!
