My nose is so big that it gets where I'm going two minutes ahead of the rest of me! I'm sure that everyone is always looking at it. What can I do to make it look better?

My office is near the barnyard, and I take care of all my friends who live there. I can change Pugsy's nose, and then maybe he will like the way he looks. We can try a very small nose like Peep's beak. Maybe he would like a nose like Bibs the Goat. Or, just maybe, he would like to have my handsome snout.

Stage 3 - Transitional Reader

I live on the farm with Pugsy and our other friends. Pugsy's nose looks fine. But if it looked like mine, maybe he'd be happier. I'll tell him how he can change his nose so he won't feel so baaa-d.

Stage 1 - Early Reader

My nose would look good on Pugsy. But it is small. Pugsy would have to eat lots of seeds and bugs to stay fat.

Stage 3 - Transitional Reader

I'm a very pretty cow. I can smell the grass with my nose. I have never seen Pugsy eat grass, but if his nose was like mine, he could smell grass better. Then he might like his nose.

Stage 2 - Beginning Reader
Pugsy, does not like his nose, so he should try my yellow bill. I push through the grass with it to find bugs, which I love to eat. If Pugsy had a bill like mine, he could eat bugs too.
